is an American media artist with a range of artistic interests, including graphic design, photography, and film. A native Michigander, Ms. Walters earned her Bachelors degree from Kalamazoo College in Fine Arts. For
the last six years, Walters has been fortunate to develop her media arts skills while studying and gaining experience while interning in the US and abroad.
In 2011, Walters was selected to participate in the New York Arts Program (NYAP), interning with Eric Schneider, a freelance cinematographer and owner of an independent film production company. The following year, Walters studied graphic design and film at the American University of Rome in Rome, Italy. Walters returned from Europe in 2013 and interned as a graphic designer for the Traverse City Film Festival, run by filmmaker Michael Moore. Walters’ love for travel lead her to move to South Korea after she graduated college in 2014.
Walters recently returned to the US from Seoul, South Korea where she worked as a business English teacher for one of Korea's largest language corporations from 2014-2015. In her spare time in Korea she volunteered as the resident artist at K: The Portfolio Laboratory. Currently, Walters is experimenting with mediums that combine digital and analog processes and is exploring gender identity through her artwork.
