Audra Pieknik

Audra (she/her) earned bachelor degrees in English from Oakland University and History of Art at Michigan State University. As an intern in 2012, and then Communications Coordinator, she gladly used her love for words and art to help further the mission of the studio. When an opportunity to take on more responsibility presented itself, she met the challenge and became the bookkeeper as well. 

Since being appointed Executive Director in 2018, she draws from her varied work experience in both corporate and non-profit operations to grow, nurture, and maintain relationships with community members, local organizations, and schools. Audra is also expanding her knowledge and growing TAE’s network through professional development courses at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. 

She sits on the newly established advisory board for the School of Humanities at Rochester University in Rochester Michigan, and is the Arts and Culture Community Pillar Lead for the Oakland University - Pontiac Initiative.
